Aman Unveils Inaugural Caribbean Itineraries for Its Highly Anticipated Superyacht, the Amangati

Even before its maiden voyage, the upcoming luxury cruise venture by hospitality behemoth Aman Resorts is seeing extraordinary demand as travelers lock in bookings for its unprecedented itineraries. Aman at Sea, the ultra-luxury yacht division of the renowned hotel brand, has officially announced the inaugural Caribbean itineraries for its 600-foot flagship vessel, the Amangati. The newly revealed sailings will bring Aman’s signature standard of secluded, minimalist elegance to the vibrant waters of the Caribbean, with cruises scheduled to run from the end of 2027 through the beginning of 2028.

Before making its way to the tropical waters of the Western Atlantic, the Amangati is scheduled to officially hit the water in May 2027. The superyacht’s grand debut will begin with a carefully curated series of Mediterranean voyages, offering sophisticated travelers five- to eight-night itineraries exploring the historic coasts and sun-drenched islands of Europe. Following its inaugural Mediterranean season, the liner will embark on a transatlantic journey, cruising southwest across the ocean to arrive at Saint John’s, the primary port from which the highly anticipated Caribbean season will officially unfold.

Between November 21, 2027, and March 20, 2028, the Amangati will embark on an ambitious slate of 19 distinct cruises. These journeys will trace the storied harbors and pristine archipelagos of the Antilles, while also charting new waters for luxury cruise lines in destinations such as the Dominican Republic, Martinique, Guadeloupe, and the Grenadines. Reflecting the pacing of Aman’s land-based resorts, all voyages throughout the Caribbean deployment will range between five and eight nights, allowing guests to immerse themselves fully in each destination without feeling rushed.

The vessel’s late-autumn deployment is thoughtfully organized into three distinct regional movements: the Leeward Islands, the Windward Islands, and the Dutch Caribbean. These regional highlights will showcase a diverse array of tropical landscapes and marine environments, ranging from the dramatic rainforest-covered slopes of the Pitons in Saint Lucia to the crystal-clear turquoise waters surrounding Anguilla, and onward to the secluded, uninhabited paradise of the Tobago Cays within the Grenadines.

For travelers looking to spend the holidays at sea, select sailings will operate throughout the festive season. Among these specialized holiday journeys is a seven-night voyage traveling from Bridgetown, Barbados, to Saint John’s, Antigua. This particular itinerary includes an exclusive, intimate New Year’s celebration hosted at a private resort located on the tranquil island of Nevis, blending onboard festivities with bespoke land-based experiences.

As the winter season progresses from January 2 to March 20, the Amangati will introduce a brand-new westward reach into the Greater Antilles. These routes will mark the superyacht’s first-ever calls in the Dominican Republic, Martinique, Guadeloupe, and the Grenadines, all approached at a deliberate, gentle pace designed to mirror the relaxed cadence of island life. Standout highlights of these winter itineraries include exploring the verdant, tropical jungles surrounding Cap Cana, taking in the lush volcanic slopes that tower above Saint-Pierre in Martinique, and snorkeling among the vibrant coral gardens located just off the coast of Kralendijk in Bonaire.

Every adventure offered aboard the Amangati includes a rich selection of curated cultural experiences tailored to the destination. However, guests seeking a completely personalized journey can also collaborate directly with an onboard concierge to design bespoke activities tailored to their individual preferences. To ensure that every single day onboard and ashore runs with absolute seamlessness, a dedicated suite host will be assigned to assist guests throughout their voyage. Additionally, arrivals and departures will be exceptionally smooth and efficient, supported by two onboard helipads and six high-end tenders designed to effortlessly ferry guests directly from the yacht’s deck to the shore.

As for the Amangati itself, the magnificent vessel is currently taking shape at the T. Mariotti shipyard located in Genoa, Italy. Measuring a staggering 600 feet in length, the nine-deck superyacht has been engineered to offer an unprecedented level of space and privacy at sea, outfitted with just 47 expansive suites. Ranging in size from a generous 731 square feet to an astonishing 3,811 square feet, the accommodations will reflect Aman’s signature quiet elegance.

The interior design draws deep inspiration from traditional Japanese ryokans, utilizing a refined, minimalist aesthetic that prioritizes tranquility and peace. Every single suite aboard the Amangati will showcase expansive floor-to-ceiling windows alongside large private balconies, creating an airy, open feel that establishes a continuous connection between the interior living spaces and the surrounding sea.

Beyond the private suites, the ship will feature a wealth of high-end, hotel-like amenities designed to rival the world’s most exclusive resorts. Guests can indulge in culinary offerings across four distinct international restaurants, unwind in a sophisticated jazz club, take in a film at the onboard cinema, or seek total relaxation at the signature Aman Spa. For those looking to enjoy the coastal environment directly from the ship, the vessel includes a dedicated beach club and a massive aft swimming pool situated at the rear of the yacht, providing expansive views of the ocean wake as the Amangati continues its journey across the globe.
